Identify the intended claim
Specify what claim your procurement process needs and which paper-based components it concerns. A visual impression of paper, a green color or a group sustainability statement cannot establish a certified product claim.
Ask for applicable evidence
The holder, site, scope, validity and order documentation matter. HC Packaging’s company portfolio cannot be interpreted as every factory holding every certificate or every item automatically meeting all listed standards.
Keep the sales documentation connected
Certified paper traceability involves purchasing, production and sales controls. A finished order needs the appropriate FSC claim in its documentation to be treated as covered; the existence of a supplier certificate alone is insufficient.
Avoid substituting other programs
amfori BSCI is an audit or monitoring framework, not a product certification. Environmental management is also different from a quantified carbon result. Keep each requested claim and its applicable evidence separately identified.
