Measure the complete item
Include protruding settings, earring posts and backs, necklace clasps and watch crowns. A nominal box size does not tell the team which part of the jewelry needs clearance.
Draw the presentation
Mark the jewelry position, facing direction and removal path. For mixed sets, give each piece its own placement and contact requirements rather than copying one arrangement across all formats.
Review the actual contact
Evaluate the proposed surface and support with representative jewelry. An apparently soft insert does not prove scratch prevention, retention or material compatibility; agree the acceptance checks for the project.
