The question and answer
Compare the usable circular opening, jewelry position, removal clearance, exterior footprint and desired artwork. The round silhouette alone does not establish usable capacity or protection.
Translate shape into space
Draw the jewelry envelope inside the proposed circular opening. Include a tall ring setting or projecting earring backs, and distinguish the interior from an exterior diameter. A square item may need more space than its width suggests.
Review the gift setting
Compare the proposed box with its bag or outer presentation and inspect the logo at finished size. For travel use, add closure and outer-packing requirements instead of assuming the small shape is sufficient.
